• Participating institutions must be credentialed for RTOG S-0132/ACRIN 6665 or RTOG 0235/ACRIN 6668 in order to participate in this study.
• Each institution participating in this study must demonstrate the ability to submit 3DCRT Digital Data to the ITC. If an institution has demonstrated this capability by becoming credentialed for another ATC-supported 3DCRT study, then it will not be necessary to repeat this process. However, if an institution has not yet demonstrated this capability, they will need to submit a 3DCRT facility questionnaire and a protocol compliant lung case, that includes the following:
  • Treatment planning CTs,
  • Structures (contours for target volumes and organs-at-risk, as defined by the protocol),
  • Treatment plan, including beam geometry, and
  • A 3D dose matrix.
  The submission of this data is accomplished using an ATC compliant treatment planning system. Along with the digital data, the institution needs to submit
  • an online Digital Data Submission Information (DDSI) Form,
  • color isodoses (either emailed as JPEG images or color hardcopy sent by express mail), and
  • an email to itc@wustl.edu.
• Institutions must demonstrate digital data submission capabilities for PET or PET/CT imaging data. DICOM PET data must be submitted to the ITC in the same manner as the digital treatment planning data. If the institution is using a PET/CT scanner, they must submit both PET and CT DICOM series to the ITC. PET imaging must be acquired using 3DCRT immobilization and setup.
